Bye, June

Hello. It is July 2026, and I am sitting here at the Stone Oven, eating my favorite breakfast of french toast and bacon. Since it is now July, I figured I’d do a June recap.

June is usually one of the busiest months for me, both personally and professionally. My dad’s birthday is in June, it’s father’s day, Larchmere Porchfest, Parade the Circle, Angry Cow’s anniv show….and just being outside in general. Usually after June is over, I disappear during July and reappear in August.

I do enjoy the busyness of June though. The weather’s finally better, people are going outside, summer is here…etc, etc.

I’ll probably be chilling in the house all July. Or if I go out, I’ll be going to places with air conditioning. Like restaurants and movie theaters.

Sidebar: yanno, sometimes I feel like I need to be talking about more photography stuff on his blog. Sometime last year I did write a post or two about photography tips and tricks. But I mostly just post photos. And that’s fine. But I do think I want to talk a bit more about how I shoot, Fuji camera settings, etc. I might try to do more of that in Q3. I just have to sit down and think about what I’d write.

I did finally add some zooms to my lens collection, so I might talk about what I got and why!
